BACKGROUND

Upon visual inspection of the pipe penetrations, no major leakages were observed but the client asked that a quotation be sent for a preventive waterproofing treatment.

SOLUTION

A total number of twenty-five (25) pipe penetrations were counted and recommended for treatment, this will forestall possibility of any leakage around any of the Fulboras. The tiles and underlying screed around the leaking pipe penetrations were removed so treatment could be carried out. With these treatments, the pipes were guaranteed to be waterproof for the entire concrete life cycle
