PROTECTING AND ENHANCING YOUR INVESTMENT IN CONCRETE

BACKGROUND

Concrete roof drainages in buildings usually require waterproofing because concrete has an inherent porous nature. The building was observed to have leakage problems which were attributed to damaged and improperly installed felt membrane. The installed PVC drainage pipes and areas between the wall and floor slab were also prone to leakages.

SOLUTION

The Concrete Logistics team were contacted to provide a permanent waterproofing solution for the roof drainage. After the removal of the damaged felt membrane, specialized waterproofing treatments were carried out using the Laticrete Pipe Penetration Treatment, Laticrete Hydro Ban Surface Treatment and Laticrete 302 UV Resistant Coating. These treatments have been specially formulated for rooftops and offer permanent protection against both water seepage and damage by sun rays.
