BACKGROUND

Upon visual inspection of the pent terraces, various areas were found to be prone to leakages. In order for waterproofing to be carried out, the client was advised to remove tiles to enable for treatment. However, they wanted to avoid excess traffic and noise caused by the process.

They requested for a bonding material to bond the existing tiles and the new screed.

SOLUTION

Larsen Weldcrete was recommended to the client as it enables screed to be bonded to old tiles through the simple process of brushing or rolling Larsen’s Weldcrete on the tiles. Within a short period they were then able to go ahead to apply waterproofing treatment on top of the newly bonded screed and tile over that.
